About
Leanne Fawcett brings a wealth of experience in counseling, clinical supervision, and program development, with a specialised focus on family and domestic violence prevention. As the Manager for the Adolescent Boys Trial at CRS, Leanne would leverage her extensive background to provide therapeutic support to young people and their families. Her experience includes roles as a Clinical Supervisor for counselors working with victims of crime and as a Senior Practitioner at Catholic Care, where she supported school counselors, students, and families impacted by trauma.
Leanne began her career in law enforcement with the New South Wales Police, where she served as a Sergeant and later as an Inspector. During her tenure, she led major incident responses, supervised teams, and provided critical support and guidance to her colleagues, building a foundation of resilience, leadership, and a deep commitment to community service. This experience led her to transition into the community sector and to further expand her impact as an educator. Leanne has also taught Social Sciences and Law Enforcement at Western Sydney University, where she inspired students through lectures, seminars, and mentorship.
Skilled in coordinating community consultations, establishing service outcome measurements, and fostering productive relationships with key stakeholders, Leanne brings a unique blend of frontline experience and therapeutic expertise. Her commitment to high-quality, trauma-informed care and her expertise in therapeutic program implementation make her a valuable addition to the CRS team.
