About

With over 10 years’ experience working within the community sector, Amani joined CRS as a Counsellor. She has passionately and holistically provided support to the community in the Canberra/Goulburn Region and has a strong background in youth justice, domestic violence, trauma, dealing with various backgrounds and ethnicities – including Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander.
She has volunteered to assist students through being elected as the board chair at several schools. Additionally, she has worked alongside the Australian Federal Police (AFP) (ACT), Police Community Safety Team, Governor General, and various other organisations to provide a co-ordinated client centred approach to assist not only the vulnerable, but the communities in need.
