Melissa Haley is a postgraduate in Family Dispute and Resolution Practice with an undergraduate degree in Education. She brings extensive experience in leadership and program delivery within the social services sector. Since 2018, Mel has served as the Chief Executive Officer of CRS, overseeing projects and operations for this not-for-profit organisation.
Mel’s professional philosophy centers on the application of early intervention strategies to help individuals change their life trajectories. She is committed to breaking the cycle of intergenerational trauma stemming from abuse, neglect, socioeconomic disadvantage, and psychosocial vulnerabilities. With expertise in managing both public and private funds, Mel is highly skilled in implementing budgets and ensuring the achievement of agreed targets and performance outcomes.
