About

Luana joined CRS in June 2022. Beginning her career working in community pharmacy, Luana realised her passion for supporting vulnerable community members stretched beyond the short interactions she held with her customers and began to look at career pathways in social and community services. She moved on to working in the Out of Home Care sector, which afforded her with six years of valuable frontline experience supporting Canberra’s most vulnerable children and young people. In 2018, Luana had the opportunity to work and live in a remote community in The Kimberley’s which highlighted the importance of culturally safe and supportive practice. Hence, Luana strives to provide culturally safe support and service.
